Realme recently updated its landing page for the January 29 announcement of the 12 Pro, unveiling an additional color option for the upcoming phone. The 12 Pro+ will feature a cream version with golden trims around the camera island and body, accompanied by a "polished sunburst dial."
In terms of camera specifications, Realme drew comparisons with the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S24 series. The 12 Pro+ is set to offer 120x zoom, featuring a 64 MP sensor for the telephoto camera, which is 27.62% larger than the one used in the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The main camera of the Realme 12 Pro+ boasts a substantial 50 MP 1/1.56” Sony IMX890 with OIS, previously seen in devices like the OnePlus 11, Realme GT3, and Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro. Meanwhile, the regular 12 Pro is expected to house a 200 MP unit, similar to last year's Realme 11 Pro+. The pricing of the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ will play a crucial role in determining their success in the competitive midrange segment, and the answer will be revealed in just 10 days.
