Samsung introduced the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra yesterday, each brimming with Galaxy AI features. Running on Android 14 and topped with One UI 6.1, a departure from other Samsung devices currently on One UI 6, these models signify a leap in AI integration.
For owners of older Samsung devices, the prospect of receiving some of these AI features is a reality. According to Samsung, "many" of these features will be extended to devices such as the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, and the Galaxy Tab S9 series. The anticipated timeframe for this AI infusion is the first half of the year.
The assumption is that these devices will undergo an update to One UI 6.1 by the end of June, incorporating the "many" AI features introduced with the S24 family. While the specific features that will be included remain unclear, we will keep you informed as soon as details emerge.
